SJ Surveyors Ltd is a Chartered Building Surveying Practice that provides specialist advice in our core disciplines of Building Surveying, Architectural Design, Project Management, Party Wall and CDM. As a practice we are registered with and regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors

Our business is built on the sound bedrock of traditional skills of a Building Surveyor. Building Surveyors are specialists in the use, alteration and maintenance of existing buildings and the services we offer include Feasibility Assessments, Measured Surveys, Building Design, Renovation, Planning Applications, Building Control Applications, Tender & Specification, Contract Administration, Health and Safety Advice, Defect Diagnosis, Strategic Maintenance, Building Surveys, Party Wall Matters and CDM
We provide a range of services for all property types (residential, industrial, commercial, educational, etc) and act on behalf of a broad spectrum of clients ranging from Private Clients, Local Authorities and Housing Associations to Solicitors, Developers and Contractors.
The practice is managed by Stephen Matthews BSC (Hons) MRICS MCIOB MFPWS RmaPS NRAC Consultant. With over 15 years constructed related experience Stephen is a Chartered Building Surveyor and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Building, a member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors and a member of The Pyramus & Thisbe Club which is a club for specialists in The Party Wall etc Act 1996, a Consultant member of the National Register of Access Consultants and a registered member of the Association for Project Safety on both the Association's CDM Co-coordinators and designers register.
